Fort XXII is a great choice for holding a non-traditional wedding or corporate event in a place with an unforgettable atmosphere. The fort has recently undergone a demanding renovation and the newly renovated premises are an ideal place for wedding receptions, family celebrations, corporate banquets, seminars and other social gatherings. Of course, the provision of trained staff and accompanying services such as catering, room decoration, live and recorded music, wine presentations, sabrage in costume, etc.

Fort XXII is one of the preserved fortresses of the set of fortifications of Olomouc. It was built according to the project of Colonel Julia von Wurmb in the second half of the 19th century. Construction of Fort XXII began in 1854. As a result of the ongoing Crimean War, a rampart, moat and facilities were quickly built. Construction work lasted until 1856. As the only fortress building in the Czech Republic, it has a functional drawbridge. Fort XXII is an immovable cultural monument.

Today, the fort includes a museum with a permanent exhibition, which acquaints visitors with the history of the Olomouc fortress system. The exhibition is complemented by an exhibition of large-format historical photographs of Olomouc, mostly from the end of the 19th century.
